Throw out a tune, open your lungs, turn up the bass! For your nervous system! 🎤🎵✨

Tell me your tune……

Sand, sea, crabs, fish, jellies, wind, rays, rain, raincoats on, raincoats off, bikini time, wetsuits, bodyboarding, sunset dips, breakfast dips, tidal pools, climbing, caves, coffees, hot chocolates.

Negotiations, nos, needing the park for mutual time out.

Laughs, games, rock-pools, kites, skimming stones, watching films, snuggles, cuddly toys, bubble gum, ice cream, fish & chips.

Family time, us time, new beaches, familiar beaches.

Cinema, take away, late nights.

Not a dollop of peace, only a few tears, mostly laughs, adventures, “that was my biggest bubble!”, gorgeous walks & a lot of repetitions of “wow this is beautiful” and “we are so lucky”…

If you wanted to take years to recover from redundancy, I've got a list ➡️

How do you feel reading it?

🤔 Going through redundancy right now?
🤔 Watching someone you love go through it?
🤔 Recognise yourself from a redundancy you had years ago and never quite shook?

Redundancy doesn't stay in the building you've just been asked to leave. Dammit.

💬 It's the "The pay isn't great but" job applications.

💬 It's the "Can I do that? Probably not" fear when reading a spec that's entirely doable.

💬 It's the "I'm fine" at a family dinner because it's so overplayed in your head it's too big.

💬 It's the shame that stops you talking about it (again).

These patterns are backed by data on prolonged recovery and poor career decisions made under pressure. Data showing a negative redundancy can fester inside our brains and beliefs for YEARS.

➡️The antidote isn't time. It's foundational work.
➡️ Redundancy Rewire exists because I wish I'd had it.

READ MORE on my website (🔗 in bio) or comment/DM "REWIRE" and I'll direct you there x

Coaching was never ever “just” the hour.
Coaching is mindset, belief systems and your whole map of the world. So whilst change is rarely overnight, a (good) coaching session lasts far, far, far longer, and percolates deeper, than many people assume 🧠🫶🏼

My inspiration for today’s journalling and fuel to share this coaching insight came from a workshop in March with the talented 🙏🏼

Find yourself some space, or a different space! I need different spaces, like a cat moving to the sunny patches ✨ Keeps things fresh when my brain needs to do the important-but-not-interesting things… (see how I’m growing ?! ✨🌈)

Happy Thursday folks xx

We make so many assumptions!
Every single day! 🗣️👀📧

Yesterday, my coaching client started a sentence, and in my head, I’d already finished it. Know where he was going. It was obvious.

Nope! It wasn’t. He finished it somewhere I hadn’t even considered!

We do this ALL the time. We assume what someone’s look means. What their words mean. What they’re thinking, wanting, intending.

We have entire realities (not an exaggeration; subconscious beliefs are dominant in our dear human brains) built on pure assumption 🧠

If we’re not careful, we end up being steered by a version of other people that only exists in our heads - which is all levels of mad because we’ve got our own ships to steer, right?

The only full information we ever have is on ourselves.

Our beliefs.
Our intentions.
Our motivations.
Our next move.

How many assumptions have you made today? Hard to count because we don’t know we’re doing it most of the time!
