Hi everyone,

I know I haven’t been active on the page for a long time, so I just wanted to say hello and check back in.

The honest answer is that I’ve been struggling with my own fibromyalgia, as well as being extremely busy in my private life. As many of you will understand, when you only have limited capacity, some things inevitably have to miss out. I’ve had to focus on getting through what was directly in front of me, and sadly that meant I didn’t have the energy or headspace to keep the page going properly.

But I do still care about this page and the people here. Fibromyalgia can be incredibly isolating, and I know how important it is to have spaces where people feel understood rather than judged.

So, going forward, I’d really like to hear from you.

What would you like to see more of on this page?

Would posts about symptoms, flare-ups, pacing, mental health, medication, benefits, work, family life, or just general support be helpful?

Please feel free to comment with any ideas. I’d love this page to become active again in a way that actually helps people living with fibro day to day.

Thanks for still being here đź’ś

Shoutout to all the men out there suffering 💙💙

Fibromyalgia is often spoken about as if it only affects women. It doesn’t. Men can and do live with fibro too, but stigma, embarrassment, and the pressure to “just get on with it” can make it even harder to speak up. Pain does not become less valid because a man is feeling it. Awareness matters for everyone.

Fibro guilt is real.

The guilt of cancelling.
The guilt of resting.
The guilt of not being able to do what other people do so easily.
The guilt of feeling like a burden, even when you’re already carrying so much.

But needing rest is not laziness.
Protecting your body is not weakness.
Surviving day to day with fibromyalgia takes strength most people never even see.

Be kinder to yourself.
You are not failing.
You are coping with something heavy.

If this hits home, share.
