I have been working as a Nutritional Therapist for 13 years. Previously I worked as a TV producer/director and series producer of documentaries. But I gave it all up and retrained after I discovered the power of nutrition when my husband became seriously ill with leukaemia.
I work a lot with gut health and am always astounded by how long people put up with gut symptoms that impact their life before seeking help. Please don’t normalise symptoms such as constipation, loose stools, painful hard to pass stools, indigestion and bloating as these are signs of sub optimal gut health. Poor gut health impacts your overall health and is linked to depression, period and menopause problems, anxiety, inflammatory disorders, autoimmune disease and even cancer.
