A great day for walking. Temperature just right, no rain and a hint of sunshine as we set off from the Teversal Visitor Centre to walk up to see the miner in Siverhill Wood who sits atop the highest (?) point in Nottinghamshire. From there we crossed fields and a questionable bridge to ascend Herod's Hill and into Brierley Forest Country Park where we stopped for lunch. Continuing through the park to leave into the Carsic estate to join the Skegby Trail to lead us back to the start.
Thanks to Brian for today's walk.

Some light rain as we set off from Castleton visitor centre and made our way up Mam Tor. The showers passed as we walked the ridge over Back Tor and Lose Hill where we paused for our lunch break. From here it was all downhill to Hope where we followed Peakshole Water back to Castleton. Great views along the way.
Thanks to Jill for leading today.

It's the iconic Mam Tor for us on Sunday 31st May. Come and enjoy the views.

Plenty of buttercups in the fields today as we set off from Alfreton Park and headed towards Pentrich but turned off to go through Wingfield Park, past Wingfield Manor and into South Wingfield and circling back to the start. A great walk with great views, Crich Tower being visible for most of the walk.
Good to see Pete back on the trails again and leading walk. Thanks for leading today Pete.
