When someone comes to see me about facial lines, there’s a lot more to consider than simply where the lines are.

Before any treatment, I look at how your face moves, your individual anatomy, your muscle activity, your skin and, most importantly, what you actually want to achieve.

Facial movement is a big part of this. I want to understand how your face moves when you smile, frown, concentrate and express yourself — because your face should still look like you.

Then there’s anatomy. No two faces are exactly the same. Muscle size, strength, position and facial structure can all vary, which is why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.

I also want to understand what you mean when you say, “I don’t like this area.”

Do you want to look more rested? Softer? Refreshed? Or is there something specific that’s bothering you?

And sometimes, the answer isn’t more treatment.

More isn’t always better.

For me, good aesthetics isn’t about changing your face. It’s about understanding it, making considered decisions and knowing when subtle is enough.

That’s the part of aesthetics I love — the clinical thinking behind creating a natural result that still looks like you. 👩🏻‍⚕️

Healthy, glowing skin comes from consistency, patience and taking the time to understand what your skin actually needs.

Look after it. Nourish it. Be patient with it. And most importantly, give it the care it deserves.

Because confidence really does start with healthy skin. ✨
