🌸☕ A LITTLE TRIP, A BIG BOOST 💕

Sometimes, a change of scenery, good food and a friendly face are exactly what’s needed. 🥰

At lunchtime today, our Activity Coordinator Bri enjoyed a lovely trip out with Sylvia to Titchfield Park Tea House. 🌷☕ This much-needed one-to-one time gave Sylvia the opportunity to relax, get out into the community and enjoy a real boost to her emotional and mental wellbeing. 💗

Over a delicious cheesy jacket potato 🥔🧀, a scone with all the trimmings 🍓 and, of course, a lovely cup of tea ☕, Bri and Sylvia spent time chatting, laughing and reminiscing about treasured memories.

Just look at that beautiful smile! 🥹❤️ Sometimes it’s the simplest moments—good conversation, familiar memories and a little trip out—that can make the biggest difference to someone’s day.

Berry hill Summer Fayre

More photos of today’s Summer Fayre at Berry hill. Lovely relaxed sunny day for stall holders. They were getting the stalls ready in the morning for the afternoons event.

Thank you to the families of our residents and staff who volunteered. They helped out by selling raffle tickets,made cups of tea and worked on our entrance to the Fayre.

Winners of the raffle collected their prizes from Claire Wellbeing Coordinator at Berry Hill. There are still some prizes not collected with the raffle tickets attached to the prize.

We will be holding an indoor Christmas Fayre in November and the date will be announced soon.We hope to see you all again.

Today we had our annual summer fayre! We raised £700 for our residents activity fund! Thankyou to everyone who came, to all the sellers, volunteers, helpers and our wonderful entertainer Graham moss !

Happy 90th birthday to our beautiful Diana! Our wonderful cook and kitchen assistant made a lovely cake and she even got the very first slice! She absolutely loved it!

✨💗 Farewell to Our Superstar Sophie! 💗✨

Today was a bittersweet day at Berry Hill Care Home as our residents said goodbye to our wonderful Activities Coordinator, Sophie. 🥹❤️

Since joining us in 2025, Sophie has sprinkled her sparkle into everything she’s done — from dress-up days and baking 🧁 to arts & crafts 🎨, nature days 🌿, music, laughter and plenty of fun! She took enormous pride in her activities and, most importantly, really got to know each and every resident. ❤️

For her final day, Sophie spent special one-to-one time with as many residents as she could, sharing cuddles, laughs, memories and heartfelt goodbyes. 🥰 Our residents even shared what they’ll miss most — from singing Lady in Red 🎶 and laughing at her dancing 💃 to her lovely smile and no-nonsense approach!

Staff and residents also filled Sophie’s leaving card with personal messages and gave her some special farewell gifts. 💌🎁

Sophie, we’ll miss the sparkle you brought to all your activities! ✨ From everyone at Berry Hill, thank you for the memories and good luck on your next adventure! 💗🌟

🎤✨ MIC DROPS & MEMORY MAKING! 🪩💃

This afternoon, Berry Hill was absolutely buzzing! 🎶🥳

With a little help from our wonderful staff and family members, our singing-and-swaying Activities Coordinator Bri got out the karaoke gear, switched on the disco lights 🪩✨ and filled the room with classics from across the decades and all kinds of genres! 🎸🎤🎵

Residents, relatives and staff were soon grabbing the microphone, singing their hearts out and showing off their best moves on the dance floor! 💃🕺 There were plenty of laughs, big smiles, sing-alongs and some brilliant performances along the way! 😂👏❤️

Nothing beats good music, great company and an afternoon spent making happy memories together! 🥰🎶✨
