Chapter 39
Health is Wealth

Six weeks post-explant, and I already feel like a weight has been lifted, physically and mentally.

This wasn’t a decision I made because I regret getting implants. At 22, it was the right choice for me, and I don’t look back on that chapter with regret. But at 39, my priorities, my body, and my health are different.

For me, I didn’t want implants to become another layer in my health journey or something else I had to think about as I get older. Choosing to remove them has been the right decision for me now.

Everyone’s journey is different, and this isn’t about saying implants are right or wrong. It’s simply about doing what’s best for your own body, at your own stage of life. This is what feels right for me, and I couldn’t be happier with that. 🤍

Let’s take it back…

I love looking back at my journey within sport and fitness and it started with gymnastics.

The passion and dedication I had for the sport from age 7 taught me a lot. Resilience, confidence and work ethic.
