💙✨ SAFESTIM CIC – WE’RE BACK TAKING BOOKINGS! ✨💙

🚐 SafeStim is available to book:
🌟 Weekdays after 4pm
🌟 ANYTIME at weekends!

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has been so patient and understanding regarding my daughter recently. ❤️ It really has meant a lot to me and my family.

📣 PARENTS & CARERS – THIS ONE’S FOR YOU!

☕️ PARENT/CARER DROP-IN & CHAT ☕️
📅 Friday 11th September
⏰ 11am – 2pm
📍 The Black Bull

I get SO many messages from parents and carers asking for advice, support, signposting or sometimes just needing someone to talk to who genuinely understands.

So I thought… why not get everyone together? 🫶

There’s no formal meeting, no appointments and no pressure. Just pop in, grab a drink and have a chat. ❤️

We can talk about:

💙 Any concerns you have
💙 Support your child or family may need
💙 SEND services & where to turn for help
💙 Forms, referrals and accessing support
💙 Ideas for activities or services you feel are missing locally
💙 Or simply have a chat with other parents/carers who GET IT!

SafeStim was created from my own experiences as both a SEND mum and a registered nurse, and I want it to be about so much more than the sensory van. I want to build a community where families feel heard, supported and less alone.

✨ Come along anytime between 11am–2pm on Friday 11th September.

No judgement. No pressure. Just a cuppa, a chat and people who understand. ☕️💙

Please SHARE so we can reach as many local parents and carers as possible! 🙏

Just a little update from me ❤️

Unfortunately, I won’t be taking on any new SafeStim bookings for the next few weeks.

My daughter broke her leg over the weekend and, as her sole carer, I need to be there to support her while she recovers. At the moment she is completely unable and unwilling to move, so understandably my priority has to be getting her through the next few weeks and helping her adjust while she heals. ❤️‍🩹

Please don’t worry if you already have a booking with me — all existing bookings will be honoured.

I’m so sorry to anyone whose booking I’ve already had to cancel, refund or rearrange at short notice. I really do appreciate everyone’s understanding and patience.

Hopefully she has a speedy recovery and this is only for a few weeks 🤞❤️ Once things are a little more manageable, I’ll reopen the diary for new bookings.

Thank you so much for understanding and for all the lovely messages and support we’ve already received. It really does mean a lot. ❤️

DROP-IN SUPPORT SESSION

We’re opening the doors for a relaxed, informal drop-in session for parents, siblings, carers and supported friends in our community.

📍 Black Bull Pub, Mansfield Woodhouse
📅 Friday 11th September
⏰ 11am–2pm

Come along, grab a cuppa and have a chat with us.

We want to hear from you — what support is missing, what activities you’d love to see, what topics you’d like help with, and what would make SafeStim genuinely useful for you and your family.

If like us, you pack for a 15 minute car journey like youre going on Im a Celebrity, or you understand how the wrong colour plate can ruin a perfectly good Monday or even that the sentence ' Were leaving in 5 minutes', is less of a statement and more like hostage negotiations...then come along, we get you!

There will be tea and coffee and biscuits and absolutely no PowerPoint presentations...so frankly, what more could you ask for? 🤣🥰

We just wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been getting in touch with SafeStim recently. 💙

We have been absolutely inundated with enquiries, bookings, messages and requests for support — and honestly, we couldn't be more thrilled! 🥹

SafeStim is still a new CIC, run by two mums who also have our own SEN children, and it is currently the summer holidays — so we're juggling SafeStim, family life and everything that comes with it! 😅💙

Please bear with us while we work through everything. We promise we're not ignoring anyone—we're just trying to keep all the plates spinning!

The response we've received has genuinely blown us away. ❤️ It has shown us just how much SafeStim is needed, and it has made us even more determined to make this work.
We don't want to rush things, cut corners or grow faster than we can manage. We want to do things properly, build something sustainable and create a service that our community can genuinely rely on.

So, if you've messaged us and are waiting for a response, please be patient. We WILL get back to you. 🙏

Thank you for believing in SafeStim, sharing our posts, recommending us and trusting us with your families.

💙 WOW! What an incredible response! 💙

The response to SafeStim in such a short space of time has been truly amazing. It has highlighted just how much need there is for accessible, inclusive and supportive services within our communities.

We are currently receiving a high level of interest from families, schools, organisations and community groups across Nottinghamshire and beyond — and we are committed to reaching as many people as we can.

As a small SEND parent-led CIC, we are incredibly passionate about what we do. However, with demand growing so quickly, it can sometimes be challenging for us to accommodate every request, particularly when travelling further afield.

So, we're excited to announce that we are developing our SafeStim Community Outreach Programme! 🚐💙

📍 Would you like SafeStim to visit your area?

If you're a family, school, organisation, community group or local service that would love to see the SafeStim Sensory Van in your area, let us know in the comments below!

We'll build a list of interest by location and, once we have enough interest within an area to make a full outreach day viable, we'll get back in touch with details of when SafeStim will be visiting.

This will help us bring SafeStim to more communities, more families and more people who need accessible sensory experiences and support.

We're so excited to see where SafeStim can go! 🚐✨

Thank you for believing in SafeStim, supporting us and helping us grow.

💙 Together, we can bring SafeStim to more communities.
