🍁🍂🍁🍂MEET MY MEMBERS 🍂🍁🍂🍁
Meet Vicky she attends our 5 30pm group at Drapers Mill School every Wednesday. Here's what she says about her journey so far, how she feels and what she's thinking at each milestone she reaches. Positive changes in her mindset & behaviour towards reaching those milestones compared to what she would have done previously are fantastic and what's going to get her to dream goal weight too! 🥰
So, this is me now. Nearly 2 stone before SW and 2 1/2 stone with SW since January 2026.
I am back to a bit less than what I was last time I lost lots of weight with SW....and I have reached the confident stage.
I got into a medium sized jacket in Zara last weekend for the first time in 25 years. Hmmm, a pizza won't hurt....
I have the beginnings of a jawline for the first time in 7 years. That huge bag of chips from the chippie won't hurt....
I have definition on my neck for the first time in years and if I take a flatteringly angled photo, I am now able to do so and not always have a double chin. Right, I need a huge cinnamon bun from the trendy cafe in the Old Town now!
Does it matter if I do any of this? Not to anyone else, no. Not even to me really. Not in the short term. Months from now though, I will be back in the bigger sizes, my pain in my joints will get worse again and I will return to being the photographer and not the subject of the photos.
Do I want this? NO.
So, I am learning how to treat myself whilst food optimising. I will drag myself to club when I know I have probably put on weight and I will keep going.
I will put myself first, I will remember how much better I feel now and I will keep going.
I will find ways to have the pizza etc but without sabotaging myself.
If you are feeling like this too. Keep going. In the words of Jennifer Anniston and Garnier, we are worth it! 😉❤️💪
