One thing patients are often surprised by is that my first question usually isn’t…
“What treatment are you interested in?”
It’s “What changes have you noticed?”
Because that answer tells me far more.
I want to understand what feels different.
Is your skin feeling less resilient?
Does your face feel more tired?
Are you noticing changes in skin quality, hydration, texture or structure?
Because treatment shouldn’t start with a menu.
It should start with understanding.
From there, we can look deeper.
We use skin analysis, conversations around your goals and look at what may be happening beneath the surface not just what’s visible in the mirror.
Then I start thinking long term.
What does your skin need?
How do we support healthy ageing?
What gives you the best outcome over time?
Sometimes that recommendation is treatment.
Sometimes it’s skincare.
Sometimes it’s doing less than expected.
Because my goal isn’t to recommend more.
It’s to recommend what makes sense for your skin.
The best treatment plans don’t start with treatment.
They start with understanding what your skin is actually asking for.
