TEAR TROUGH FILLER

Tear trough filler, when performed on the right patient, should never look like filler.

The goal isn’t to change your face, it’s to restore support, reduce shadowing, and create a fresher, more rested appearance whilst maintaining natural facial expression.

In this before and after, carefully placed hyaluronic acid filler was used to soften the tear trough area and improve the transition between the lower eyelid and cheek. The result is a brighter, less tired appearance without looking overfilled or unnatural.

Happy International Nurses Day 💉🤍

Today feels a little extra special.

Nearly 25 years of being a nurse, from emergency care and critical decision-making to now helping people feel confident, refreshed and truly themselves through medical aesthetics.

People often see the “before and after” in aesthetics, but what they don’t always see is the nurse behind the needle.

The years of clinical judgement.
The patient safety.
The anatomy knowledge.
The recognising when something isn’t right.
The ethics.
The compassion.
The responsibility.

Being a Nurse Prescriber within aesthetics matters.

Because aesthetics should never just be about trends, selling treatments or chasing unrealistic beauty standards. It should be about safe, evidence-based, medically led care, full consultation, honest conversations and treatments tailored to the individual.

Sometimes that means saying “yes”, but often it means saying “not yet”, “less is more”, or even “I don’t think this is right for you.”

I don’t believe in shaming people into treatments.
If Botox isn’t your thing you shouldn’t feel forced into it. Aesthetic medicine is about choice, education and empowerment.
