🙌 What is it?
Vikasa is a strong yet accessible yoga practice that blends breathwork, moving meditation and the immersive flow of signature Vikasa music. Through mindful movement and longer-held postures, it helps build strength, resilience and a deeper connection to both body and mind.
🧘♀️ How is it taught?
Unlike faster-paced styles, Vikasa encourages you to stay, hold and breathe. The longer asana holds develop strength, focus and breath control, while creating opportunities to progress towards more advanced postures such as arm balances and inversions. Each class concludes with an extended savasana, allowing time for true rest, recovery and integration. The practice follows a progressive series taught by Hannah Coates, Rebecca Lloyd and Ruth Steel, each bringing their own unique perspective to the sequence.
💚 Who is it for?
Suitable for all levels, with modifications offered throughout. Ideal for anyone looking to deepen their practice, build strength and cultivate a calmer, more resilient mindset both on and off the mat.
