We had an absolutely wonderful day here on Saturday 🎶✨☀️ we had music, great games and we all enjoyed an ice cream 🍦
We played games like Lucky Dip, Hook a Duck, coconut shire and we had a wonderful raffle and tombola 🎟️

Last Saturday we got wonderfully messy as we started our Monet Waterlilly project 🪷 the residents were encouraged to use their fingers to blend beautiful colours inspired by the painting by Monet and once they dried these were then cut into shapes of lily pads. They were beautiful and very effective and everyone has a great time 🎨🖼️🧡

As week 1 of 30 Days Wild 🐾comes to a close directed by Wiltshire Wildlife; we wanted to share that during the week we rescued a fledgling who was on the side of the road. We could see Mummy bird up on the roof of a property, luckily next to our rear courtyard garden. With the advice from the local wildlife hospital we placed it in the garden to give it a chance. Residents across the home loved hearing about this and thought the bird was very cute 🧡

As part of our VE Day celebrations within the home we had a wonderful singer in on Monday who sang songs by Doris Day, Vera Lynn and other classics 🎶 we have also been reading poetry written by soldiers and Land Army girls 🪏 and looking at posters produced during WW2 🖼️
