As an aesthetic practitioner, one of my biggest jobs is helping clients separate fact from fiction so they can make informed decisions about their skin.

In this carousel I’m busting some of the myths I hear the most:

Practising on yourself is just part of the job!

First it was skin boosters… trying to inject your own face while filming and checking the mirror to make sure you’re actually in the right place. That was a skill in itself! 🤸‍♀️

Then came the polynucleotides… and let’s just say the DIY practitioner gymnastics definitely levelled up! 😅
