I am a Personal Trainer & Studio Instructor with a love of all things health & fitness related. I'm particularly passionate about Spinning, BoxFit, Kettlebells & Sculpting. I’m still working to find that perfect balance which is different for everyone but through personal experience I have found that it’s not j

MUSCLE IS NOT ABOUT VANITY! IT IS AN INSURANCE POLICY FOR YOUR FUTURE SELF!

Muscle is far more than strength - it is one of the body's most powerful defenses against aging and disease.

As we age, muscle acts like protective armor for the body: it supports metabolism, stabilizes blood sugar, strengthens bones, protects joints, and helps maintain balance, mobility, and independence.

Higher muscle mass is consistently linked to lower risk of frailty, chronic illness, falls, and metabolic disease.
The truth is simple: the more muscle you preserve and build - at any age - the more resilient your body becomes.

Muscle gives you reserve capacity when illness strikes, helps your body recover faster, and keeps you physically capable longer into life.

My training is non-negotiable.

More often than not, I haven’t got the energy.
I don’t feel motivated.
I’m exhausted.
I ache.

There are a million excuses that go through my head — and I let them come. But I always show up for myself.

On the hard days, I redefine the win.
Maybe it’s not a full session.
Maybe it’s just 20 minutes.
Maybe it’s simply moving my body in a different way.

But I make sure I get it done.

Because it’s not about being perfect — it’s about being consistent.
That’s how results are achieved.
That’s how they’re maintained.

And that’s how I’m holding onto the muscle I built in my 30s, now in my late 40s! 💁🏽‍♀️✨💪🏼🏋🏼‍♀️

5.2 miles / 8.4km done, 13k steps all before 10:30am!

The perfect way to stay active, get those extra NEAT steps and chat to like minded ladies ✨💖
