We talk about the fabric of experience.
Some moments are silk — rare, luminous, soft against the skin.
But the cloth built for a lifetime is wool.
Think of the waulking women, the tweed, the hardest-wearing weave:
windproof, wet-proof, temperature-wise, made for rough terrain.
Trauma leaves wounds. Wounds shape you, yes — but you decide what they make of you.
Form has a function, and your narrative is yours:
the lessons, the feelings, the pain, the process, the patterns, the path.
Your book. Your breath. Your action.
So I ask: what do you really deserve?
What in this story needs recognition… reconciliation… reconnection?
What desires deserve rebuilding — not because they’re pretty, but because they serve your purpose?
You are not silk. You are tweed.
Hardy. Resilient. Cut from cloth generations before your birth — rough-terrain survivors.
Saints, sinners, something in between: sparkle without needing glamour.
That’s your lineage.
Your destiny is service, not servitude.
Not to people’s opinions, not to a diagnosis, not to anyone else’s version of your pain.
Your service to humanity is your choice: truth, wisdom, empathy, debate, light.
And you get to decide how that life fits you.
Fine moments could be silk.
But the cloth built for longevity and purpose is wool —
waulking women, tweed, the hardiest weave:
wind, wet, temperature, wipe-clean resilience.
Trauma leaves wounds. Wounds may shape you or make you —
but form has function, and your narrative is yours.
The lessons, the pain, the patterns, the path:
your book, your life, your action.
So I ask every client: what do you truly deserve?
What in this story needs recognition, reconciliation, reconnection?
What desires deserve rebuilding because they serve your purpose?
You are not silk. You are tweed.
Hardy. Resilient. Cut from cloth generations before your birth —
rough-terrain survivors.
And you were born to serve —
devotion to truth, justice, advocacy, hospitality,
humble companionship, and being the middle ground.
Not servitude. Not self-erasure.
Service is chosen alignment.
Servitude is submitting your life to someone else’s fear.
Your service to humanity is clear:
truth, wisdom, empathy, debate, enlightenment —
on your terms, in your own shape, for a life that fits you.
