Some conversations in this industry matters… this was one of them. 🤍

Honoured to be featured in the “Ask The Expert” section of Professional Beauty Magazine, sharing my thoughts on pricing treatments within the beauty industry … a topic that goes far beyond numbers alone.

True pricing reflects far more than time. It reflects experience, education, investment, intuition, care, results and the years spent mastering a craft and not forgetting the client experience and the centre of it all.

The skincare industry is full of big promises and quick fixes, and over time that creates a lot of noise.

More products, stronger treatments, faster results. It sounds convincing, but it often leaves people frustrated when their skin doesn’t respond the way they expected.

After years of working with skin, I can tell you this, when you strip all of that back and focus on what actually matters, everything becomes much simpler and far more effective.

The way your skin looks and behaves in five or ten years isn’t down to one treatment or one product. It’s the result of small, consistent choices. How you support your barrier. How you manage inflammation. How well your skin is able to repair and recover over time.

I often see people wait until something changes before they act. Lines deepen, skin becomes reactive, things start to feel different. Then the instinct is to do more, quickly. But by that point, we’re playing catch up instead of working with the skin as it evolves.

My story didn’t start in a clinic. It started in uniform. I served in the British Army, and at that moment, healing and care weren’t part of my world. Yet, it was during that time that I knew I was searching for something meaningful, something that connected me to people at a deeper level.

One day, I walked into a beauty college and felt an instant spark. I realised instantly: this was where I belonged. Over 20 years later, that spark has become a journey I’m deeply proud of - one that’s taken me across the globe, sharing what I love with therapists, therapists-in-training, and clients alike.

I’m not just scouring the latest tools and trends. I’m a skin geek, sure, but I’m equally an educated guide - someone who loves the technology as much as the nuance, the ritual, the connection.

I’m a multi-award-winning facialist. I’m an international educator with a teaching degree. I’ve had the privilege of training at the world’s best spas - from Mandarin Oriental to the Ritz, ESPA to the One & Only.

And above all, I do this from a place of integrity.
