This client wanted increased lip volume whilst maintaining a balanced and natural-looking result.

For this treatment, 1ml of dermal filler was used to enhance lip volume, improve border definition and increase hydration within the lips. Care was taken to maintain proportion between the upper and lower lip and to support the natural lip shape.

In the before and after images, you can see:

• Increased lip volume and projection�• Improved lip border definition�• Enhanced shape and symmetry�• Improved hydration and smoothness of the lip tissue

Post-treatment notes:�Mild swelling and tenderness are common immediately after treatment and usually settle within a few days. Results continue to soften as the filler integrates into the tissue.

My client was concerned about the appearance of marionette lines and loss of support around the lower face.

For this treatment, dermal filler was placed strategically to provide structural support to the areas surrounding the mouth and chin, rather than simply filling the lines themselves.

By restoring support in the lower face, we can help soften the appearance of marionette lines and improve overall facial balance.

A great example of how dermal filler isn’t always about creating larger lips.

For my client, a conservative amount of filler was used to:

• Restore subtle lip definition
• Improve hydration and support within the lips
• Soften perioral (“smoker’s”) lines around the mouth
• Improve the overall appearance of the lip-to-skin transition
