I am getting more and more enquiries about Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage, which is great, as people are finding out about the amazing benefits this type of massage has to offer! What some people are not aware of, is that there are different types of MLD, each having their own technique, benefits and outcomes. Many people watch reels of say the Brazilian drainage massage, which has a rapid, intense application, then are confused when I explain during the consultation that it is a very light, gentle treatment (hence why I complete a thorough consultation before each treatment so I can establish the clients needs and expectations), so I thought I would do a quick comparison chart to help with what you need to book for.
I have not officially launched the Brazilian/Wood therapy and the Pressotherapy yet (so are not on my treatment menu and website, but they are available to book), but please state when booking that you require these as specialist pieces of equipment are needed.
The Wood therapy will be priced as £40 for 30 mins, £50 for 45 mins, and £60 for 60 mins, but with a £5 discount up until the end of September.
The Pressotherapy treatment is priced as £37 for 30 mins and £47 for 45 mins, with the option of booking a scalp massage or express facial while in the suit for a additional price of £5 for the scalp massage and £16 for the express facial.
These are all available along with all other massage and Holistic therapies at The Mowbray Clinic @ on Tuesdays and Fridays.
