Last week, I had the privilege of holding space for several one-to-one Integral Sound Healing sessions at the beautiful Cycles of Change clinic.

Each person arrived carrying something different - fatigue, transition, overwhelm, physical symptoms, old stories ready to be met with fresh compassion, or simply the quiet knowing that something needed to shift.

What continually amazes me is that healing doesn’t always look dramatic…

Sometimes it’s the first deep breath someone has taken in weeks.

Sometimes it’s a body finally feeling safe enough to soften.

Sometimes it’s a thought that gently loses its grip.

Sometimes it’s remembering that we don’t have to carry everything alone.

Sound offers a space where the nervous system can begin to settle, where the body can reconnect with its own innate wisdom, and where there is nothing to fix - only an invitation to listen.

Each session reminds me that healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about coming home to ourselves, one gentle layer at a time.

As we move towards the Summer Solstice, I’m reflecting on light - not only the light around us, but the light we rediscover within ourselves when we create space to rest, receive and simply be.

There was something about the light in the clinic space as the day evolved. The way it moved through the trees, softened through the window, and shifted across the space like it had its own intelligence. That dance of light and sound was truly mesmerising.

Thank you to everyone who trusted me with a small part of their journey last week. It is always an honour to witness.

✨ If you’ve been curious about one-to-one sound healing, I’d love to tell you more.

Some evenings stay with you long after you’ve left…. Last night’s Sunset Sound Bath was one of them. ✨

The light was simply stunning.
Many people arrived early, taking time to sit and wander outside, soaking up the warmth of a June evening as cows grazed peacefully nearby, horses watched curiously and rabbits darted through the grass.

Before a single note had been played, there was already a sense of slowing down.

As we journeyed through sound, the world outside carried on around us. And when the final vibrations faded into silence, we were met with birdsong, the gentle calls of the cows and the joyful sight of calves galloping across the neighbouring field.

Nature reminding us that we’re never separate from it.

Today brings the New Moon, inviting us into quiet reflection. And in just a few days, we’ll reach the Summer Solstice, when light is at its fullest.

There feels to be such beauty in holding both together.
The darkness that invites us to listen.
The light that reminds us to shine.

As I drove home, the universe had one final gift waiting for me - a blazing sunset stretching across a field of vibrant red poppies. It felt as though I was surrounded by the frequency of summer itself.

A gentle reminder that beauty is always speaking to us, if we make the time to notice.

Thank you to everyone who shared this special evening with me. Thank you for choosing to pause, to listen and to simply be.

If you’ve been thinking about joining a Sunset Sound Bath, I’d love to welcome you on Sunday 5th July. We’ll gather once again in the beauty of Waltham’s open countryside to rest, reset and soak in another summer evening together.

After that, the Sunset Sound Baths will take a little summer pause before returning on 23rd August, making 5th July our final gathering for several weeks.

Perhaps it’s the perfect opportunity to gift yourself an evening of stillness before the fullness of summer carries us into its own rhythm.

I hope to share the sound space with you. 🤍

In the past week, several people have said something similar after a sound journey:

“I didn’t realise how hard it is for me to actually relax.”

This is something I hear often.

And it makes sense.

We live in a world that trains us to be alert, responsive and constantly “on.” Over time, the nervous system can forget what it feels like to truly soften and let go.

Relaxation isn’t just something that happens to us — it’s also something we can gently relearn.

This is part of what regular sound journeys can support. Not as a quick escape, but as a practice of coming back into the body, slowing the mind, and allowing the nervous system to experience safety and stillness again and again.

Over time, many people notice it becomes easier to drop into rest — not only during a sound journey, but in everyday life too.

If you’ve found it difficult to relax, you’re not alone. And it’s something that can shift with practice, patience and the right conditions.

Sound is simply one of the ways we can begin to remember how.

Join me for an immersive sound journey and remember for yourself…

This Sunday’s Sound Bath at Waltham on the Wolds is shaping up to be a beautiful summer evening. ☀️

One of the things I love most about this venue is the setting. Surrounded by open countryside, it’s the perfect place to slow down and step away from the busyness of everyday life.

If you’d like to, come a little earlier and make an evening of it. Bring a picnic, find a spot outdoors, and enjoy the summer air before we begin. There are often rabbits darting about the fields, cows grazing nearby, and plenty of birdsong to accompany you as the evening unfolds.

As we gather on the eve of the New Moon, it feels like a lovely opportunity to pause, spend some time in nature, and arrive gently before settling into an hour of deep rest and sound.

Then, after our journey together, you’ll emerge into the soft light of a June evening, with sunset not far away and that unmistakable feeling of summer lingering in the air.

The sound bath itself will be a chance to completely switch off — to lie down, get comfortable, and be immersed in the sounds of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments designed to support relaxation and restoration.

Still light in the sky as the final notes faded away. ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined me for last night’s sound journeys at .

As we sat together in the lingering evening light, I was reminded of the season we’re moving into. The days are stretching longer, the world around us is vibrant and alive, and there is an unmistakable sense of momentum building as summer approaches.

It’s a beautiful time of year.

And yet, in all that brightness and activity, it can be easy to forget ourselves.

To become caught up in plans, responsibilities, gatherings and doing.

Last night felt like a gentle invitation to pause before the fullness of summer arrives.

To rest. To listen. To receive.

Our theme was Light — not only the light around us, but the light within us.

For me, sound is one of the most powerful ways of reconnecting with that inner light.

The vibrations create space beyond the noise of everyday life, beyond the endless thinking and doing, allowing us to simply be. To remember that beneath everything that demands our attention, there is a part of us that is already whole, already peaceful, already enough.

Thank you for sharing that space with me and with one another.

As we continue towards the Summer Solstice, my invitation is simple: make time for yourself. Even in the busiest seasons.

Especially in the busiest seasons.

The next Sound Journeys at Mountsorrel Memorial Centre will be held beneath the Strawberry Full Moon on Monday 30th June at 6pm and 8pm. 🍓🌕

A chance to pause, breathe, and reconnect in the midst of a season that asks so much of our energy.

I’d love to welcome you there.
With love,
Kat ✨

Yesterday morning I had the privilege of bringing a sound bath to residents at in Rothley.

Twenty-six people gathered in a circle around the instruments, some arriving curious, some a little unsure, some perhaps wondering what exactly they had signed up for.

What unfolded was beautiful to witness.

As the sounds filled the room, I watched faces soften, shoulders drop and smiles appear. Questions were asked, stories were shared, and there was a palpable shift in the energy of the space.

Moments like these remind me why I do this work.

For me, sound has always been a doorway beyond the physical form.
It helps me remember that I am so much more than my body, my thoughts or my circumstances.
It offers a space where we can simply be, beyond labels, roles and limitations.

As we age, our bodies often change in ways we didn’t expect or wouldn’t necessarily choose. They may not move as they once did. Memory may become less reliable. Everyday tasks can become more challenging.

Yet beneath all of that, something essential remains untouched.

Watching the residents relax into the sounds felt like witnessing that deeper part of themselves being gently remembered.
Not fixed. Not changed. Simply remembered.

A reminder that there is still wonder to be experienced, curiosity to be felt, and connection to be shared.

Thank you to everyone who joined me, and to the wonderful Sally who invited me in and made the morning possible. A very special session that I won’t forget.

For a little while, the room became less about age, memory or physical limitations, and more about presence, connection and the simple experience of being human together.

🌑✨ Sunday Evening Sound Journey in Waltham ✨🌑

Join me next Sunday evening, 14th June, for a deeply relaxing sound journey in the beautiful countryside of Waltham.

As we gather in the quiet hours before the New Moon reaches its peak in the early hours of Monday morning, we’ll be invited to slow down, rest and create space for new beginnings. The dark moon phase offers a powerful opportunity to turn inward, release what no longer serves us and set gentle intentions for the cycle ahead.

Waltham is a truly special place — peaceful, wild and surrounded by open fields and nature. As the sounds of the gongs and other therapeutic instruments wash over you, it’s not uncommon for the local rabbits to emerge and play nearby, adding a little extra magic to the evening.

As we gently return from our sound journey, we’ll be greeted by the beauty of a summer sunset stretching across the fields — a chance to savour the stillness, the colours of the evening sky and the sense of calm that follows.

A beautiful way to end your weekend and welcome the energy of the New Moon.

This morning’s Sunday Morning Sound felt special.

As the blue full moon reached its peak, we gathered together for a morning of stillness, sound and spaciousness. The energy in the room was gentle, expansive and quietly powerful. One of those sessions where time seemed to soften and everyone settled into exactly what they needed.

I don’t often hold morning sound immersions. Most of my events take place in the evening, when the day is winding down and the nervous system is naturally beginning to slow.
But mornings offer something entirely different.

There is a freshness to them. A clarity.
Rather than arriving with the weight of the day behind us, we arrive with possibility ahead of us. The sound seems to meet people in a different place — more open, more spacious, more receptive.

Today’s gathering reminded me just how beautiful that can be, and it has me thinking that perhaps a few more Sunday Morning Sound sessions might find their way into the summer calendar. 🤔

For those asking what’s next, the perfect counterpart to today’s Full Moon gathering is our New Moon Sunday Sunset Sound in Waltham in two weeks’ time.

If this morning was about illumination, the new moon is about possibility.

Waltham is one of my favourite places to hold sound. Surrounded by open fields and wide skies, it carries a deep sense of peace. As we settle into the sound immersion, wild rabbits often emerge from the surrounding grasslands to play and explore. Then, as we leave, we’re greeted by the setting sun stretching across the landscape.

There is something profoundly beautiful about gathering at sunset. The world naturally begins to quiet. The light softens. The pace slows. And beneath the stillness of the new moon, there is an invitation to listen inwardly and create space for whatever wishes to emerge next.

A different moon. A different energy. A different experience.
Because every time you meet sound, it meets you where you are.

And that’s what keeps it endlessly fascinating.

I hope to see some of you there. 🌙
