SHOP CLOSURE.
I sincerely apologies to both staff and customers for the lateness of this post. It has honestly taken me a couple of weeks to come to terms with loosing the shop and the significant emotional upset and heart break that I have suffered has been difficult to cope with.
It is with great regret and sorrow that I have had to close Dark Circle.
It is not a decision I took lightly, or without great sadness. For the last year I have tried my very very best to keep all of the members of staff in employment, understanding that, from counter staff to artists, everyone relied upon their job. The past twelve months have been a significantly difficult economic period. The fact of the matter is we have been running at a loss for nine months out of twelve. I just could not continue to pump money into the business.
Firstly I would like to thank all of my staff for their hard work, their dedication, and for the friendship and kindness they have shown. Especially during the personal hardships I have suffered in this last year. Secondly I would like to thank all of my customers who have trusted me to work on them over the ten years I have worked from the shop. Your generosity and loyalty have been wonderful and greatly appreciated.
I know some folks have outstanding deposits or work that still requires completion. I am 100% prepared to honor both. If anyone is requiring the return of a deposit please PM me or email me and Ill get that returned as soon as HMRC and the accountant are finished with the accounts and paperwork.
If anyone has any work they require finishing, I am currently working from a small private studio in Sunderland, and because the overheads are so much lower Im currently able to offer full days at £250 and half days at £200. I hope the cheaper prices make the travel worth while.
Once again I absolutely apologies for any inconvenience that has been caused to anyone and would once again like to thank everyone for their help and business over the years,
