USE US OR LOOSE US...

Imagine driving down Middlesbrough Road, Middlesbrough or Bondgate, Helmsley one day and seeing the Podiatry and Gait Clinic has gone.

No lights on
No foot services
No needles
No laughter

DAY 2

The 100 press ups a day challenge for September for Cancer Research UK.

So this one didn't go quite according to plan but we decided to post the vid anyway. It reminded us of our lockdown vids. The actual outtake was funnier than the recorded stuff. It was too good to waste., and it's true what they say...never work with children or animals.

PERKS OF THE JOB

Having access to some of the BEST technology is such a perk of the job when you need it.

The weather is pretty awful out there, and I'm trying to avoid anywhere I could slip or fall. This ankle is not 💯 yet. So we decided to have a little look at the new farm shop and cafe at Gripps Farm this afternoon, just outside Saltburn by the Sea.

We've passed it quite often and seen it taking shape over the past few years, but it finally opened last week. Awesome 😎👍 is how we'd describe it, and we came away with some Pistachio cream filled cannolis. 😋 Well it would be rude not to. 😁

Alan our expert Podiatrist is a bit of a coffee ☕ aficionado and he said the coffee is fantastic. All the staff are lovely and helpful, and it's dog 🐕🐾 friendly too. It's a place that's got our vote of approval...🏆
Oh and there's a petting zoo area for children too.

From one local business to another, we wish you guys the very best. You've done a fantastic job and the hard work really shows. 👍

A Peak Behind The Scenes

Here's our expert Podiatrist Alan Cawthorne doing some MLS Laser Therapy on my ankle after the 3rd fracture within 8 months.

Thankfully I'm out of the boot, but I've got some tendon inflammation and now plantar fascilits which is incredibly uncomfortable. 😖

But we are managing it and I've got new orthotics enroute together with the MLS Laser Therapy, Shockwave and Acupuncture. We'll have this one cracked in no time.

Unfortunately the Hypermobility which is causing the ankle instability issues is another story for another day.

However, I'll be back in clinic on Tuesday 1st September, and looking forward to getting those needles out for my lovely Acupuncture patients.

A Peak Behind The Scenes

We love making sure our clinic is not only clean but smells lovely too.

So we thought we'd share a picture of some of the things we have in our cleaning tool bag. 🧹🧽

My favourite is Asevi, and I came across it whilst in Spain and spotted hoteliers, shops, homes and even medical clinics using it. The smell is so clean and fresh.

For reassurance in clinic, Asevi is antibacterial and removes 99.9% of germs, bacteria, fungi, and viruses. So that's right up our street. 💪

I promise we are in no way connected to the manufacturers of Asevi, but I know what's excellent and what we demand for our patients in clinic. 🫶❤️

So that's a quick peak behind the scenes and some of the things we use in our cleaning arsenal.
