Our sessions run

All day Wednesday
Every 2nd Saturday.
Any amount of time is amazing.

You can volunteer from 12yrs onwards and we can offer training.

Please pop along if you are interested and we can answer all your questions.

We are looking for someone to join our team on a Friday & Saturday to help care for our horses and help within our RDA Saturday sessions. The ideal person will have experience within the industry mucking out and handling horses to a high standard, able to tack up and be happy working with our wonderful participants with additional needs. Our days are great fun but can be busy.

Fridays will include schooling the horses and sole charge.

Job can be shared between the days if required.

Friday - 8am - approx 11.30 & 2-5pm
Saturday 8am - 4pm (sometimes until 5 for holiday over etc).

Saturdays can be busy so experience handling horses, tacking up, grooming etc is required, we as coaches are busy with the participants.
Mucking out, handling hay & straw etc is required alongside checking on horses living out, field maintenance etc.
We are also heading into winter so please be prepared for colder weather.
Friday will include schooling horses for Saturday, riding is not a requirement especially as some are ponies but lunging/long-reining is.
DBS checks will be required for the position - we will carry these out alongside any specific RDA training.

Please send info/CV to [email protected] or 07809 456296
Please note as we work with vulnerable adults/children references/DBS checks will be required.

The temperatures are looking extremely hot next week. We will closely monitor this, usually we swop to non ridden but at the 34degrees currently predicted this will just be too much for the horses. We will see how it looks tomorrow and make a decision.
