Just come back from a 3-day Shiatsu retreat with incredibly inspiring practitioners Kate Burford & Tracey Krikler in Shropshire. We learnt some valuable tools to regulate our nervous system, so that when we give a treatment, we have “Grounded Presence”.
We worked with techniques to bring movement into the receivers body focusing on shoulders, psoas muscle & the vagus nerve that calms the nervous system.
We stayed in the most beautiful haven . If you ever need an escape & time to connect with your authentic self, Ecopsia holds retreats there. Highly recommend 🙏✨

SHIATSU
Shiatsu is a therapeutic bodywork practice that combines Western medicine, Oriental theory & Psychology.
It is known to reduce stress and enhance well-being by supporting the body’s natural healing mechanisms.
A treatment consists of lying down on a futon and receiving a combination of palm & finger pressure on meridians, acupressure points & gentle stretches to relieve tension & promote healing.
Shiatsu can help with relieving stress & other health conditions like pain & inflammation, insomnia, digestive problems, depression & anxiety.

Questions about your lifestyle & medical history will be asked at the beginning of a treatment. Some lifestyle recommendations may be given.
