Studio News & Our Next Chapter 💔✨
If you haven’t seen an email from the studio yet, I’m sharing the bittersweet news that our physical Olney studio venue will be closing its doors on September 17th.
Opening this space has been an absolute dream. I’ve loved every moment of building this community, unrolling mats together, and watching so many of you deepen your practice.
As many of you know, our wonderful landlady sadly passed away recently. They, along with their family, were so supportive of me during my time here, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have brought this space to life. Following their passing, the future of the building became uncertain while under probate, and my lease was extended on a short 3-month basis while plans were being worked through.
I have spent the last few weeks exploring every alternative I could think of, looking at other local properties to lease and local halls to hire, but unfortunately the right venue wasn’t available.
Being without a clear plan wasn’t easy for me. So I made a proactive decision to hand in my keys when my lease comes to an end to confidently start planning and stepping into the next chapter.
As a few of you know, there is now a short-term lease being offered for this building before the estate is sold next year. Ironically both decisions were made around the same time, but I truly believe everything happens for a reason.
I’m in the process of planning The Yogi Place’s future and I’m excited with what could happen next. I’ll be looking to hire large venues for monthly workshops in Milton Keynes and Olney (we know we needed the extra space anyway 😉), and I will have more time for private classes come October. 💖🤸♀️
A few of you have also asked about online classes so perhaps this is also an option to be explored! ✨
Don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye, it’s just see you on the mat later. 😉💖
Onwards and upwards! ✨
