This popped up in my memories. 2 years ago I was discharged from hospital with two metal plates and 13 screws in my ankle after falling off my bike. My ankle still swells up most days and there are places where I don’t have full feeling but I am grateful every day I can walk, cycle and dance badly (I did before I broke it too 😜)…
Today we completed an almost 3.8 mile cycle and although I pushed my bike in a few places (still a tiny bit of fear, but each day is better). I had a fantastic ride with Matt, through Great Holm, around the lake and back home. This is not my first ride since the accident but it might be the longest so far… It also reminded me of my dear Reiki teacher, Marcia and my dad. The first thing Marcia told me was “slowly, slowly, catchy monkey” and it is so true. Slow things down, be more in the moment, be mindful, be patient with yourself and look after you. It really does help build you back up when you have been through a big challenge. My dad had a saying, “If you can walk, walk. If you can dance, dance.” His words are in my ears and heart every time I get on my bike. “If you can cycle, cycle.” Happy Sunday all! 💕 ❤️MK

Beautiful Friday teaching Reiki 2 to 3 amazing students! It was fab to also see more men in a class! You were all amazing, huge congrats on becoming Reiki Level 2 Practitioners and thank you so much for trusting me on your Reiki journey. 💕
