This Thursday, Caer Corhrain opens its doors for two dedicated circles:

Men of Heron - a space for men to gather, connect and share.

Women of the House of Heron - a space for women to gather, connect, share and simply be.

Two circles, held separately, creating space for connection, conversation and community.

🔥🌑 NIGHT OF THE ANCESTORS 🌑🔥

As the nights draw in and we reach that special time of year when the veil thins, we invite you to join us around the fire for a Night of the Ancestors.

A simple, heartfelt evening to remember and honour those who have gone before us - both the Ancestors of this land and those of our own bloodlines.

Three sacred fires will burn into the darkness as we gather in community for ceremony, music, stories and, of course, drumming.

Our roundhouse will become a beautiful space of light, filled with fairy lights and photographs of loved ones who are no longer with us.

This isn’t about grief. It is about remembering, celebrating and giving thanks for the lives, stories and journeys that have shaped the generations that came after.

There is no fee and no donation - simply come with your intention to remember and honour.

Come and sit around the fire. Share a story. Make some music. Eat together. Remember those who came before.

As summer begins to soften into autumn, September brings another month of gatherings, connection, music, drumming and time spent together at Caer Corhrain.

Whether you're looking to sit in circle, find your rhythm, raise your voice in mantra, or spend a day birthing your own drum, there’s something to welcome you through the month.

Thursday 10 September
- The Men of Heron Men’s Circle - A dedicated space for men to come together, share, listen and connect.
- Women of the House of Heron Women’s Circle - A gathering for women to connect, share and spend time together in a supportive circle.

Sunday 13 September
- Mantra with Bruce Scott - A day of voice, mantra and connection with Bruce Scott.

Thursday 17 September
- Drum Circle - Come and share in the rhythm. Bring your own drum if you have one, or we have drums to borrow.

Saturday 19 September
- Autumn Sweat Lodge - join us for our Autumn Equinox Sweat Lodge and celebrate the turning of the wheel of the year.

Friday 25 September
- Drum Birthing Workshop - Spend the day birthing your own drum, working with natural materials and discovering the relationship between you, the drum and its voice.

September is a beautiful time to gather - the days are changing, the evenings drawing in, and there’s something special about coming together as the seasons turn.

An evening of connection, rhythm and community in a dedicated women’s circle.

Friday 14th August – Drum Birthing Workshop
Birth your own drum, working with the hide and hoop to birth a drum that is uniquely yours.

Thursday 20th August – Mixed Drum Circle
A welcoming space for everyone to come together, connect and share through the rhythm of the drum.

Sunday 23rd August – Mantra with Bruce Scott
A day of mantra, voice and connection with Bruce Scott.

Choosing a drum is a deeply personal experience. It's not just about how it looks - it's about how it feels in your hands, how it sounds, and whether it speaks to you. For that reason, we do not post our drums. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to play and hear the drum they choose before taking it home.

As the Wheel of the Year turns to the Autumn Equinox, we arrive at a moment of perfect balance - where day and night stand as equals before the darker half of the year begins. It is a sacred time to pause, give thanks for the harvests in our lives, reflect on what has come to fruition, and prepare to release what is no longer needed as we move into the season of rest and renewal.

We invite you to join us in ceremony for our Autumn Equinox Sweatlodge on Saturday 19th September, held in deep respect for the land, the ancestors, and the ancient ways.

This is a powerful yet nurturing ceremony - a space to offer gratitude for life’s blessings, let go of what no longer serves, and reconnect with the wisdom, strength, and cycles of the Earth. Rooted in community, prayer, and connection, the lodge offers an opportunity to step away from the everyday and enter something older, deeper, and shared.
