Join us for a welcoming community drum circle at IslandWorks - an evening of rhythm, connection, and good energy.

Drumming has been used across cultures for thousands of years to support wellbeing, reduce stress, and bring people together. You don’t need any experience at all - just an open mind.

Whether you’ve never touched a drum before or you’ve been playing for years, this is a relaxed, friendly space where we’ll create rhythm and sound together, have fun, and enjoy the power of coming together as a group.

There are no performances, no pressure, and no need to read music - just come along, join in and soak up the atmosphere.

As we move into the heart of summer, we have a beautiful range of events coming up - offering opportunities for connection, learning, creativity, music, and community.

Thursday 18 June – Drum Circle
An evening of rhythm, connection, and community. No experience needed - simply come and drum.

Friday 26 June – Drum Birthing Workshop
Create your own sacred frame drum in a supportive and ceremonial setting, crafting an instrument that will become a companion on your journey.

Saturday 27 June – Advanced Rune Workshop
For those wishing to deepen their understanding of the runes and explore their wisdom at a more advanced level.

Saturday 27 June – Community Drum Circle (IslandWorks)
Join us for an uplifting gathering of rhythm and community as we drum together in this amazing setting.

Sunday 28 June – Mantra with Bruce
An opportunity to experience the power of sacred sound, voice, and repetition through mantra practice.

Saturday 4 July – Music in the Meadow
An afternoon and evening of live music, community, and connection in a beautiful natural setting.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Lakeview Village Hall last night as we journeyed Into The Greenwood.

Together, we stepped beneath the green canopy and with the help of voice and music followed the turning of the seasons into the heart of early summer. As the hall filled with sound, we travelled through the landscape created by our wonderful artists, inspired by the ancient wisdom and vibrant energy of the Greenwood at its fullest.

Morning began crisp, bright, and fresh, with the birds in full song as we sat waiting for our drum birthing workshop to begin.
What an incredible day it turned out to be. The day was filled with emotion, laughter and I mean deep, belly laughter, so much joy, yet also so much respect and love given to these beautiful drums that were coming into the world.
One large and magnificent horse hide became four drums as the day unfolded. It was a day of grace, ease, and the most amazing medicine of the Horse.
New friendships were formed, and amazing journeys are only just beginning.
A truly blessed day.
Thank you to the teacher’s past, the teachers present, and the teachers yet to come, for this amazing art that lives not in books, but in the heart the power of the living drum.
