Just a little reminder that our next Breast Buddies meeting is on Monday 29th June and we’d love for you to join us. 💕
Our special guest will be Cath from Nicola Jayne, a company specialising in beautifully designed bras and swimwear for ladies who have had breast surgery.
Cath will be chatting about: ✨ Post-surgery bra fitting
✨ Confidence and comfort
✨ Swimwear options
✨ Helpful advice and support
As always, it’s a chance to relax, chat, support one another and enjoy being around people who truly understand. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, post treatment, or years down the line — you are very welcome. 💗

Our new Breast Buddies posters have gone to print and will soon be appearing in local hospitals, GP surgeries and community venues.
Breast Buddies is a friendly breast cancer support group where you'll find understanding, friendship and support from people who truly get it.
Whether you're newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, recovering, supporting a loved one, or simply looking for people who understand, you'll always receive a warm welcome.

A huge thank you to the amazing Ellie Wilkinson! 💖🏃‍♀️
Ellie recently completed the Leeds Half Marathon and chose to support Breast Buddies through donations from family and friends. Thanks to her incredible effort and generosity, she has raised a fantastic £100 for our group.
Every penny helps us continue supporting local people affected by breast cancer, and we're so grateful that Ellie thought of us.

Our Fairy House Pottery Workshop is now open for booking and places are already proving popular! 🧚‍♀️🏡
Join us on Monday 27th July for a relaxing, creative session where we’ll be making our own magical fairy houses from clay. No experience needed — just come along, have a laugh and enjoy some time with lovely people who understand. 💕
⚠️ Numbers are LIMITED and it will be on a strictly first come, first served basis.
A £10 deposit is required to secure your place.

This month is simply an informal chat with like-minded people — a chance to relax, have a brew, share experiences, laugh, listen or just enjoy being around others who understand. 💗
No pressure, no expectations, just friendship, support and a safe space to be yourself.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, going through treatment, recovering, or years down the line, you are always welcome at Breast Buddies. 🌷

Go on give them a quick feel. It takes less time than scrolling Facebook (and we all know how long that can be! 😂)
4 years of Breast Buddies 💕
Still here, still reminding you because this stuff matters.
No excuses, no embarrassment just know your normal and if something’s not right, get it checked 🎀
And yes… lads… you’re not off the hook either 💪
Now carry on with your BBQs, bank holidays and cheeky drinks 🍹

Yesterday’s Breast Buddies meet was a full-on success… and yes, we can now officially confirm that some of us can crochet AND some of us can still only produce what looks suspiciously like abstract modern art 🧶😄
There was laughter, concentration faces that should definitely never be photographed, and at least one “how on earth did I end up with 3 extra loops?” moment.
But honestly, that’s the magic of it — no pressure, no perfection, just a group of brilliant women learning something new, having a giggle, and proving that healing and happiness can sit right alongside a ball of wool and a slightly rebellious crochet hook 💛
Our next meeting is 25th May (Bank Holiday). It’s usually a quieter one, but you’re still very welcome to come along, bring your crochet (or any craft), or just join us for a cuppa and a chat. Low key, relaxed, and always a safe space ✨
Same time next meeting… bring your yarn, your sense of humour, and maybe a mild acceptance that we are all still beginners 😂✨

✨ Think There’s Nothing You Can Do? Think Again! ✨

One lady was told her post-surgery seroma would last around last 10 years. After three scar therapy sessions, last week it felt like a 🏏 cricket ball… this week, a 🎾 tennis ball!
Small steps can make a big difference,there is hope. 💛💪💐
