You’ve probably been told your whole life that shaving makes hair grow back thicker… but scientifically, that’s just not true 👀

A razor doesn’t change the follicle, the colour of the hair or how much hair you grow. It simply cuts the hair at the surface, leaving a blunt edge behind, which is why regrowth can feel darker, coarser or stubbly.

So if your hair feels thicker after shaving, it’s an illusion… not a biological change ✨

Laser hair removal works very differently. Instead of removing hair at skin level, it targets the follicle itself to gradually reduce growth over time, meaning softer regrowth, less irritation and less maintenance long term ⚡️

For years, I thought SPF was just for sunny holidays…
Not grey days in Yorkshire.
Not sitting inside working.
Not driving to appointments.

But the more I learnt about skin health, pigmentation and premature ageing, the more I realised it’s the small daily habits that make the biggest difference ✨

Now? SPF is part of my routine every single morning, no matter the weather.
