Blooming Kids NI is a family friendly business located near Magherafelt to help your little one explore, communicate and most importantly smile! Our vision is to ‘Help each child BLOOM where they are planted.’

Our services are multi award winning including winner in maternal mental health services and family family services across NI. We provide courses for children from birth- pre-schoolers and

deliver a mindfulness programme to primary and nursery schools. All of our courses and programmes include the use of NI sign language to aid communication (using BSL with NI dialect), Baby Massage, Baby Reflexology, Baby Yoga, Movers and Groovers and Eco Tots courses. All courses are held in a specially adapted studio so that both you and your wee one can relax in a safe, warm and friendly environment. The courses are relaxed and very friendly and social, a great way for both you and your baby to make new friends! Blooming Kids NI is the only company to offer baby and toddler sign language courses in the area. As the owner of the Sign 2 Music licence in Mid Ulster, our classes cover Magherafelt, Cookstown, Moneymore, Maghera and the surrounding area. The signing classes are suitable for babies from birth and involve nursery rhymes, singing, dancing, puppets, bubbles, crafts and much much more! Baby Massage and yoga course can help your little one sleep better, relieve symptoms of colic, reflux, improve parent-baby bonding, relieve symptoms of post natal depression and re- introduce new mums to gentle exercise. Eco Tots introduces toddlers to the World Around Us through song, nature walks and crafts. One hour 1-2-1 workshops for massage costs £40. We also offer Blooming Minds programme for nursery and primary schools to , nurseries and birthday parties/ christenings also available. For anyone who missed July’s edition of magazine. This month, my column focussed on the importance of good connection throughout life based on my own experiences. From the newborn and baby stage, through primary school, teenagers - right through to elderly parents and the end of life care. Connection with children, connection with friends, connection with parents, connection with community, connection with faith- it’s what sees us through. 💜

An amazing first year of teaching! Now back to Blooming Kids classes over Summer! 💜

As we come to the end of the school year, we would like to take the opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to Mrs N Palmer, who kindly stepped in to cover Mrs Henderson's maternity leave in our P6/P7 class.
From the very beginning, Mrs Palmer became an integral part of Team Tobermore. She quickly settled into school life, building a fantastic rapport with the children and establishing herself as a valued and respected colleague amongst staff. Despite this being her first year in teaching, nothing was ever too much trouble. She embraced every opportunity, got involved in all aspects of school life, and approached every challenge with enthusiasm, professionalism and a smile.
This year has also brought significant personal challenges for Mrs Palmer following the loss of her father. Throughout it all, she has shown remarkable strength, resilience and dedication. We have admired her positivity and commitment, and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has contributed to our school community.
There are simply no words to describe how much we are going to miss Mrs Palmer. She brought not only her talent and dedication, but also her chat, warmth and wonderful sense of humour that brightened so many days.
While we are sad to see her leave, she will always be a part of the Tobermore family. 💙🌈
Mrs Palmer, thank you for everything you have done for our pupils, staff and wider school community. We wish you every success, happiness and blessing for the future and hope to see you back through our doors very soon.

Thank you to everyone who supported my fundraiser in any way.

From bun/cake donations, baking, donations, raffle prizes and helping out on the day. I appreciate you all.

£2000 raised for charity which will be split between Alzheimer's Research UK and Marina Care Home Comfort Fund. These charities will help families living with dementia- one of the most cruelest diseases to watch progress.

Thank you all so much. It is lovely to be able to create something positive from a very sad time. Miss you, Dad. x
