Connect for Summer Beach fun! 🌞☀️
Lots of pictures of the hard working sand crew!
The younger kids or individuals have already been allocated special awards in the comment under their photo as it was hard for them to compete with large organised groups 😅
I have added details and team descriptions in the comments under each picture.

No rules. Like as many as you want to and the most likes WINS overall, feel free to also vote for the younger/individual castles too ⛱️🏆

Another successful Connect for Summer completed 🌞
We had so much fun and the weather was very kind to us ☀️🥰
We started the week with a butterfly scavenger hunt which included having to correctly ID as many as possible. All the teams did really well! 🦋
We made beautiful clay decorations with real pressed flowers, some butterfly pegs, leaf printing and of course our 'Jars of Summer' (any excuse to play with glitter)
We also made up some bee rescue remedy and took home little jars ready to save any struggling bees 🐝

Mid week we had a great water day.
It started with throwing the water balls at a target to try for a bullseye 🎯
Followed by the classic over the head bucket to bucket challenge...great to watch 😂💦🌂...the day ended with a summer snowball fight and lots of soaked happy faces 😁

We had a new addition to our summer fun 'Hook a Duck' which we all played for a very very long time, you can't beat an old classic 🐥🍬🍭

There were lots of games including my new sticky dodgeball which got very competitive 🙈 a game of hide and seek that had 2 boys take it to the extreme to be the ultimate winners (picture attached 😅)

Flower crowns, rope swinging, tattoos, our traditional quiz and so much more! 🌸🌻🌼❇️

We ended the event with a sandcastle competition. Photos of the beach day to follow.
I want to say a huge thank you to Jasmine, Willow, Libbie and Amber for all your hard work and to all the kids for making it so special and making all the effort worth it 🥰❤️🦋🐝🌞

Connect for Easter 26!🌸🐣🥚
What an eggsellent week 😁🐣
We had our traditional Easter Egg hunt with a few golden eggs to find with lots of sweeties and prizes 🥚 decorated our boiled eggs, made very cute clay Easter ornaments.🌸
We dyed card eggs with shaving foam and food colouring for our Easter wreaths, we also had many more crafts and played lots of games.

We had our sports day and corners quiz which became very competitive 🏆
We ended with an extra big colour powder battle and a lot of laughter 🫟
I will put a separate post for the colour day photos!

Another successful Connect for Halloween week 🎃👻🥰
We managed to have sunshine when we needed it for the Spooky Scavenger hunt.
We made beautiful clay pumpkins, decorated our wee real pumpkins 🎃 and then had our spells and potions day with lots of mess and glitter fun. 🕷️🦇 We made our witches pets (two different pets that were caught in a spell and became one unusual mix 😂🐈🦇🕷️)
We had our favourite blind box challenge to identify various gross feeling foods without seeing them and also try to guess the Halloween name we gave them!
We ended our week with a big Halloween games day and party.
We had the eye ball and spoon race, the splat spider game and of course the traditional wrap Michele and helpers as toilet roll Mummies...it was claustrophobic 😅..
It was nice to see so many new faces as well as our usual Connect family.
Thank you so much to all the kids for making it so worth it and to Miranda, Jasmine and Libbie for all your help, I couldn't have done it without you! 🎃🥰❤️

The second Connect for Summer was a big hit, despite the extreme weather at the start of the week. 🍃
We brought the beach indoors for our drift wood wool wrapping instead, with some amazing art work created. 🎨🖌️
We also had clay to make butterflies with leaf imprint wings 🦋...although some kids were influenced by Jasmine and made sharks instead 😂🦈
We also had the most requested craft...the glitter potion jars...we used our experiences of summer to create a little jar of Summer Vibes ☀️🌊🐝
We had our water games and corners quiz and many other crafts and games in-between!
We ended our week at the beach with the plan to do an overall summer sandcastle/sand art competition but the wind decided to reclaim the beach quicker than we could build so instead we ditched the buckets and went for a paddle in the waves 🌊🌀 with three of us on jellyfish watch we managed the whole day with only one sighting so great fun was had 🌊🍃
A huge thank you to Jasmine Hardie and Chloe Wanless for all your help and amazing support, we couldn't do it without you.
And finally a big thank you to the parents/guardians for driving out in those conditions to bring your wee rays of sunshine to us 😁☀️🐝🌿🥰
