To get the most out of your spray tan and make it last longer, follow these pre- and post-care tips:
Before Your Spray Tan
1. Exfoliate thoroughly (24 hours before):
Use a gentle, oil-free exfoliator or exfoliating mitt to remove dead skin cells. Focus on dry areas like elbows, knees, ankles, and hands.
2. Hair removal (48 hours before):
Wax or shave at least a day before your appointment to avoid irritation and patchiness.
3. Avoid moisturisers, deodorants, and perfumes:
On the day of your tan, keep skin clean and bare to prevent barriers that affect tan absorption.
4. Wear loose, dark clothing:
After your appointment, tight clothes can rub the tan off. Opt for dark fabrics in case of transfer.

After Your Spray Tan
1. Avoid water, sweating, and tight clothes for 8 hours.
This includes showers, workouts, or anything that could cause streaking.
2. Rinse gently with lukewarm water:
Your first rinse should be quick and without soap. Avoid scrubbing.
3. Moisturise daily (after first rinse):
Use an oil-free moisturiser to hydrate and maintain an even fade. Avoid products with alcohol or harsh ingredients.
4. Avoid exfoliating and shaving too often:
This removes the top layer of skin where the tan sits.
5. Pat dry after showers:
Don’t rub with a towel—this can cause patchiness.
6. Extend with a gradual tan lotion:
After a few days, use a gradual tanning product to top up the colour.
