Take some much needed time out with our deeply restorative workshop. We’ll explore a range of techniques to regulate and calm the nervous system to escape the ‘fight or flight’ response. Learn to reconnect with your self and take some much needed time out. We’ll start by energising movements and powerful breath work to wake up our system. We'll then move onto more a calming session with myofascial release and yin yoga. We'll then take you through an immersive sound journey and guided meditation. This will be enhanced with reiki healing during the soundbath.

Another beautiful workshop with another group of beautiful souls. It was so lovely to connect with everyone on our Release & Reset workshop. People have gone away with some tools to help regulate the nervous system, breathwork techniques, myofascial release, yin yoga, Pilates not forgetting our Date & Walnut cake! 🍰

Release & Reset Workshop

What a beautiful way to start a Sunday. We practised ways in which to regulate the nervous system. Breathwork, grounding, movement, myofascial release and Yin Yoga finishing with meditation. Everyone went away with tools they can use to help them into their rest and digest state. Fascial Flow

Fascial Flow blends the stillness of Yin Yoga with the healing touch of myofascial release. It combines the slow, spacious holding of Yin Yoga with the targeted soft-tissue work of myofascial release. At its heart, it is about creating enough support and sensation for the body to soften, rather than forcing change. The class flows through self myofascial release on a particular area such as the hips to release areas of tension before settling into a Yin posture. The result is often a deeper sense of ease, improved mobility, and a more embodied awareness of how the body holds stress.

I’m back!

After months of should I? could I? can I? will they?. I taught my first Trigger Point Pilates class after the most traumatic year of my life. I wasn’t really sure what to do, I’d lost confidence in teaching and have felt overwhelmed teaching large numbers in gym classes. Last night felt like coming home. It’s was amazing to see all my lovely regulars and work with them on a more individual basis. Massive thanks to Annie at Grounded Yoga for letting me hire her beautiful space.

Breathwork to heal

Since I lost my beautiful son Joe last year, I have been searching for ways to heal and breathwork has helped me the most. Everyday I practice breathwork. I honestly didn’t think I could sit in those moments of stillness but surprisingly I can. By doing it first thing in the morning, it helps me face the day, last thing at night helps me sleep.

Breathwork courses will ge coming soon but if you can’t wait that long, I have 2 places left on my somatic workshop on 17th May.

New Timetable Alert

Can't wait to start teaching classes at the beautiful Grounded Yoga in Mossley. My first class starts next week with Trigger Point Pilates. Will be phasing classes in. Also watch this space for workshops and courses in breathwork, nervous system regulation and myofascial release.

New class alert 6pm Pilates starting 11th May 2026 Grounded Yoga, Mossley

Mat pilates course suitable for all abilities. This class is mainly based on the mat. Basic equipment such as inflatable balls, resistance bands, pilates rings, are sometimes used.

Mat pilates exercises are performed in a slow, controlled, precise manner and require intense concentration. These exercises help strengthen the body's core by developing pelvic and scapular stability and abdominal control using focused breathing patterns.
