We are incredibly proud to announce that Rotherwood Healthcare has won the Best for Resident Safety category at the UK’s Care Home Awards 2026.

We are honoured to be recognised for the exceptional care we provide across our homes. This award celebrates our commitment to creating safe, supportive, and compassionate environments where residents can maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Through preventative wellness initiatives, evidence-led dementia care, strong clinical governance, and dedicated teams, resident safety is embedded in everything we do.

Members of our team had a wonderful evening celebrating both this achievement and the incredible care industry alongside so many inspiring professionals.

🌙 World Sleep Day at St Georges Park

Today at St Georges Park Nursing Home, we celebrated World Sleep Day by bringing a little bedtime magic into the day.

Residents enjoyed cosy evening routines including hot chocolate, calming surroundings and relaxing hand massages, while staff even joined in the fun by wearing their pyjamas to work! Susan also shared her favourite bedtime routine – settling into bed with a good book and soft lighting.

A lovely day focused on comfort, relaxation and the importance of a good night’s sleep.
