‼️We need your help‼️🎉This weekend🎉 The Cavalier Centre is hosting a large scale Metal Detecting weekend event, in order to raise money for our RDA Charity.

We have been so lucky to have been given over 200 acres of historic land to explore by The Willey Estate, that has never been detected on before.

➡️This event now has over 200 attendees coming from all over the World! We have two full days of metal detecting on offer, plus on-site catering, a bar, live band and historic talks going on over the weekend.

For those camping on site, we are welcoming people from 12pm on Friday to set up and settle in, and campers will be staying until Sunday evening or Monday morning.

‼️‼️We are in need of more help for this event, and we are reaching out to our wonderful volunteers to see if anyone would be able to help with the following:

✨Friday Afternoon - help with event set-up
✨Friday Evening - Help with food service, bar service and food preparation (11am - 3/4pm or 4:30pm - 8pm - bar service until 11pm)
✨Saturday - Help with food service, bar service and food preparation (11am - 3/4pm or 4:30pm - 8pm - bar service until 11pm)
✨Sunday - Help with food service, bar service and food preparation (11am - 3/4pm or 4:30pm - 8pm - bar service until 11pm)
Monday - event break-down and clean up from 9:30am

‼️We urgently need more hands on deck to ensure the smooth running of this fantastic event and we really hope some of our amazing volunteers will be able to help us out. If you are able to help, please email [email protected]

Our next sessions with Olympic Showjumper Geoff Billington are now live on our booking site!

Join Geoff and learn techniques and skills from a true show jumping legend!

There will be an hour session on the hour from 4pm - 8pm, groups of 4 (£50 per participant) or individual sessions for £200 per person.

🎉We are excited to announce the date of our Cavalier Showcase event is now Sunday the 4th October!

✨Come along to The Cavalier Centre from 11am - 3pm and watch displays of vaulting, carriage driving, show jumping and more, featuring our wonderful ponies and participants.

🙌 There will be a full day of demonstrations and displays, plus refreshments, cakes, drinks and tombola prizes!

➡️If you are a Cavalier Centre participant and would like to take part in our Cavalier showcase, please email [email protected] to express your interest. We will need vaulters, carriage drivers, riders and more. Please let us know by Friday the 25th September at the latest.

🎦 We will be live streaming the day via our page for anyone who is unable to make it on the day.

Our Metal Detecting Weekend is fast approaching, and we are so excited to welcome participants from all over the World to The Cavalier Centre for this very unique event!

With huge thanks to the Willey Estates, we have over 200 acres of never before explored estate land to detect. This land was once owned by Abraham Darby, and as you can imagine, may be full of historical treasures never before discovered!

There will be catering on site, as well as historical talks and a live band on Saturday night! If you are local and just want to join us for the day or the evening, there are several ticket options available 🙌

➡️BHS Ride Safe Training and Assessment Day
➡️Saturday 19th September
➡️10 am to 4pm.

🎉This BHS Award is about gaining confidence and skills to ride safely on roads and in the countryside.

‼️Full day course starting with theory followed by a practical session and assessment . If you are wanting to achieve BHS Stage 1 Complete Horsemanship then you will need to complete the Ride Safe Award.

✨All on our lovely horses and ponies at The Cavalier Centre. Includes Ride Safe booklet and expert training, support and assessment on the day.

This week, we say a very heavy hearted goodbye to our beautiful boy Jack. Jack is returning home, after giving so much of his time and love to The Cavalier Centre over the past few years, it is time for him to head home and enjoy relaxing, wonderful hacks and lots of love from his owners.

We all know that Jack returns to an amazing home, as he belongs to our lovely yard coordinator Lex and her family 🥰

We will miss you so much Jackaroo, your patience, warmth and affection have been a real asset to The Cavalier Centre and we are going to miss seeing your handsome face every day. Have so much fun back at home 🙌

Don't forget to book your space today!

Book your table for our indoor preloved sale on Friday the 25th September from 6pm - 9pm.

Equestrian and general goods/household/kids all welcome to sell! Spaces are £10 and we can provide a 6ft trestle table for an extra £5.

We are also hosting a hobby horse show jumping competition, so bring the kids down and peruse the stalls while they have a go at hobby horsing!
