I’ve been away for a few days on .shenanigans business and came back to a magical wonderland of mushrooms in the woods this morning on my walk with Midge! It was just so beautiful it took me a lot longer than normal because I just had to keep stopping and taking it all in. So many different fungi!! Just what I needed after a super busy trip! ☺️🍄‍🟫🍄

CALLING ALL THERAPISTS! I also attended this wonderful online course with the lovely Jo from Bowen College - UK. Laura explains it so well. I highly recommend for therapists of all disciplines, not just Bowen. 🩵🫶🩵

On Sunday I was really fortunate to take part in the online pilot of Bowen College UK’s latest cpd course TLC. This is a day long course run by the very experienced (in life matters and course qualifications) Jo Swift. The course is about how to meet our loved ones and our clients as they are at each stage of ageing right up to end of life care. We often shy away from conversations about ageing and death and yet what could be more important than being able to understand the different stages of ageing and illness and learning the skills to create dignified , comfortable, safe and precious spaces for our families and community.

I currently have two dates for my fascinating 2 day Introduction to Bowen Therapy course. This is especially exciting because they will be held in my beautiful new wellness studio here at Faebait Lodge. It’s nearly ready!!! It will definitely be ready by October 🤣.

The two day course is suitable for anyone who is interested:

My daily dog walk takes a little longer when the fungi arrive. Every day new stunning fruits of the mycelium spring up from the forest floor. They literally erupt. I smile knowing that the forest’s neural network is spreading out under my feet….

Midge and Meg have got it right, an afternoon just chilling. When was the last time you took a little afternoon nap? Did you know they are incredibly good for you? A wee nap resets a fatigued brain and actually boosts productivity. So next time you feel that tiredness wash over you find a comfortable chair, set your timer for 15 minutes and succumb to a snooze ☺️

My commute to work this weekend……. over the bridge to Skye. The most beautiful commute? The drive up here through the Highlands is incredible, through river glens with waterfalls and rapids, and stunning mountains with craggy tops and soaring raptors. I’ve already seen a bunch of lovely clients in my regular monthly Bowen Therapy clinic yesterday here at Bee Bonnie Beauty , and am looking forward to helping more amazing people today and tomorrow.
