For patients who use our Stepps Pharmacy, including the 24/7 collection machine, the power is now back on, and the pharmacy is open as usual. Our dispensing robot will take a while to reset and come back online, which means some prescription items are unavailable until this is complete - please speak to the pharmacy team when you visit if you have any queries. Thank you for your understanding

‼️ LATERAL FLOW UPDATE: TAKE 2 ‼️

Following on from our recent post about LFTs, we have been made aware of a mistake on the NHS Inform website.

The NHS inform website states that you can collect Lateral Flow Tests from our pharmacy. Please note this is an ERROR! We DO NOT have any Lateral Flow Tests available and, as it stands currently, we WILL NOT be able to obtain anymore.

LFTs are still free of charge in Scotland and can be accessed online or from local testing centres.

This has understandably caused some confusion and we are not sure why this has happened. Unfortunately, we don’t appear to be the only pharmacy in Lothian that are affected by this. We hope this provides some clarity.

Many thanks

📢 WE ARE STILL HIRING ‼️

We are looking for someone to join our team on a full time basis 😊

Previous pharmacy training/experience will be taken into consideration but NOT ESSENTIAL! Full training would be provided for the right candidate!

Ideally, the candidate will possess a full UK driving license! Driving may form a part of the role from time to time to help out, however, the vast majority of work will be in the pharmacy itself!

If you feel you would be suited for the position, please email a CV and a short supporting statement to [email protected]. For more information, please contact the pharmacy directly on 0131-665-2146 or pop in 😊

Many thanks and good luck ‼️
