MINDFULNESS BASED STRESS REDUCTION COURSE on Zoom
An 8-week course for beginners
Thursday evenings (7pm to 9pm) on the following dates:
19th and 26th September, 3rd and 10th October then a break and continuing 31st October, 7th, 14th and 21st November 2024
The MBSR course is designed to help us explore mindfulness in our daily life and learn mindfulness skills to better cope with the stresses that we face. Often described as the "gold-standard" in mindfulness courses for beginners, it is based on the work of world-renowned secular mindfulness teacher Jon Kabat-Zinn.
The course will be run in a small group on Zoom by two trained mindfulness facilitators from our charity - Liz Newstead and Allan Pettie.
Cost
The cost of the 8-week course is Β£125. Please do not let affordability be a barrier as half price concessions are available for those on low/no income and we can also offer a flexible payment plan to pay by instalments. Payment by Paypal is also an option. The course includes access to the notes and audio recordings of the meditations for each session.
