Want bigger, stronger arms? Don’t neglect your triceps 💪

Your triceps make up a huge proportion of your upper arm, and they’re made up of three heads: the long, lateral and medial head.

The key? Don’t rely on one exercise. Different movements and arm positions help you train the triceps through different ranges.

🔥 Overhead tricep extensions — great for emphasising the long head in a stretched position
🔥 Cable pushdowns — brilliant for loading the triceps with constant tension
🔥 Tricep kickbacks — strongest contraction when the arm is behind the body
🔥 Close-grip bench press — allows you to load the triceps heavily while building pressing strength

For the best results, combine heavy compound pressing with controlled isolation work, use a full range of motion and progressively increase the demand over time.

Train them with purpose, not just endless reps. 💪

Strong triceps = stronger presses, better arm development and improved upper-body strength.
