This is a tricky time of year if youโ€™re following a diet plan, maintaining your weight loss, or just generally needing to watch your weight.

The best advice I can offer is to simply do the best you can do, while being kind to yourself.

When I say be kind to yourself, Iโ€™m not suggesting that you give yourself permission to treat your body as a rubbish bin.

Quite the opposite. You are worth more.
Iโ€™m suggesting that kindess is treating your body with the respect it deserves. Being kind to yourself is eating foods that are high in nutritional value, that nourish your mind, body and soul instead of diminishing them. Thatโ€™s real kindess.

So when youโ€™re surrounded by all those tempting foods and drinks, please remember, your real friends are water, lots and lots of it, along with real foods, the protein and veggies as listed in your Step 2 and 3 lists, and of course your 1:1 Diet products that are nutritionally balanced, and help you stay full.
These are the foods that will love you back.

The alcohol, the carby, surgary, fatty and fried food, just make you feel and look bad, so try your best to stay clear of the foods that are not your weight loss friends.

Do the best you can through this tricky period, and stick to the foods that love you back and that you arenโ€™t still wearing the next day. Switch your thinking when you are seeking comfort from foods. Fill up on the healthy stuff and think of that as your comfort ๐Ÿ’•

The time is now to take action, even if just one of these are implemented at a time:

โœจ Minimum 2.25 litres of water per day - water is you secret weapon - the more you drink the more your appetite and you shrink!
โœจ in just 3-4 short days if you stick to plan and stabilise your blood sugars again, you will be feeling back in control, no longer bloated and back in the zone. 3 days to feeling good again. You can turn this around, know that you have the power.
โœจ Get moving. Something as easy, free and simple as 30 mins a day of walking can make a huge different to your physical and mental health. Make time for it, even if in 2 blocks of 15. Every step counts.

Losing 5 stone was one of the hardest things Iโ€™ve ever had to do but now Iโ€™m on the other side of it I can look back and appreciate all the sacrifices I made were for the better to get me to where I am today.

Each Step has been tailored to help you reach your goals. You will work with your Consultant to adapt the Plan so it fits in with your life.

There are 6 Steps, but they're not linear, so you can dance through them, or step past them!

Your Consultant will set individual goals and make it personalised to suit you, whilst remaining nutritionally complete to keep you balanced.

Step 1
This Step will help you lose weight quickly and effectively. If you choose this Step, you replace all your everyday food with our nutritionally complete meal replacement products - there's a huge range to choose from. There's no meal planning or visits to the supermarket needed - just pick three (Step 1A) or four products (Step 1B) per day with the help of your Consultant and off you go!

Step 2
Enjoy three products a day as well as a healthy meal of your choice. You can plan this meal yourself or with the help of your Consultant. You could also choose from our range of yummy Step Up Mealsยฎ.

Step 3
There's even more flexibility here - choose two products as well as a healthy breakfast, lunch and dinner! For some recipe inspiration, check out our blog or speak to your Consultant who might have plenty of ideas up their sleeve!

Step 4
If you're active (with a busy life, hectic job or you're a gym bunny) then a few more calories might be just what you need. Here you'll continue to have a couple of products, your lunch and dinner, plus an additional snack - yippee! We've got a tasty snack range you can try. Your Consultant will continue to support you, to help you keep on track.

Step 5
This Step is super important - it'll teach you portion control and how to make the right food choices to help maintain your weight. You'll continue to cook your food in a healthy way whilst still having one of our delicious products throughout the day.

Step 6
This Step is all about maintenance. Your Consultant will still be there with you, even with your new healthy and active lifestyle. You may need a pep talk every now and again, and a reminder of how far you've come and how brilliant you are! It's always a good idea to keep a product on you, a bar in your bag or a pack of bites in your drawer so you always have something to hand. Yay to the new you!
