Temporary IT/Internet Disruption

⚠️ Important notice for our patients

We are currently experiencing an internet connection problem due to an issue at the telephone exchange in Haverfordwest.

Unfortunately, this means that we are unable to access our clinical systems at present, which is affecting the services we can provide from the surgery.

We are aware of the problem and are awaiting resolution. We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while this is being investigated.

We will provide a further update as soon as we have more information.

Thank you for your understanding.

A Message to Our Patients

Your safety is our priority.

Our practice is not an emergency (acute) service. Our reception team is trained in Care Navigation and will always direct you to the most appropriate service based on your symptoms.

We have recently seen an increase in patients declining advice to attend A&E or understating or misrepresenting their symptoms to obtain a GP appointment. This can delay urgent treatment and may put your health at serious risk.

If our reception team advises you to attend A&E or call 999, they are following approved Care Navigation pathways to ensure you receive the right care as quickly as possible.

Please remember that seeing a GP first does not fast-track you through A&E. Emergency departments have their own triage system to ensure patients with the most urgent conditions are seen first.

If you are experiencing severe chest pain, collapse, severe difficulty breathing, sudden one-sided weakness or slurred speech, severe bleeding, or any other life-threatening emergency, please call 999 immediately.

Thank you for treating our reception team with kindness and respect and for helping us ensure everyone receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
