🤘🏻SAVE STONEDEAD GEOFF!

Born in 2018 after the Stonedead team called for a “scary, proper rock & metal monster,” Geoff was designed by Stuart, aka The Brown Lazer, and named by the public. Our good pal and SFX technician, Jayne brought him to life and then Craig turned him into Stonedead’s most recognisable character!

Craig has been a professional circus performer since 2012, performing across the UK and around the world, including multiple Formula 1 races and the opening ceremony of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Jordan. His skills include stilt walking, juggling, unicycling, balloon modelling and giant bubbles. He’s brought that love of spectacle, chaos and performance into Geoff, creating countless memories for the Stonedead crowd, including the legendary moment Geoff dehorned the MMH Radio Minotaur!

Geoff has become part of the Stonedead family. Stuart created him, Craig performs him, and the crowd named him. These days, you’ll find Stuart creating lowbrow art and fresh ink at Rebel Base Tattoo Studio, Newark (and beyond, although that’s a separate surprise in the making), but Geoff remains very much part of the community.

Unfortunately, after years of festivals, rain, mud, b**r and general abuse, Geoff’s original head has finally had enough. It was never designed to survive this long, let alone the unpredictable English weather!

We’ve listened to YOU, the Stonedeaders, and taken your suggestions on board. Our good friend and special effects technician Jayne, who is an absolute magic human, is ready to work her special effects witchcraft yet again.

**Geoff will be tougher, more weather-resistant and MUCH more spectacular. Think Iron Maiden’s Eddie meets circus meets Stonedead: stilts, special effects, theatrical movement and a monster who can tower over the crowd**

We’re aiming to raise £4,000 to make it all happen.

We’re doing this entirely off our own backs. There’s no profit in this for us. We’re doing it because Geoff belongs to YOU, the Stonedeaders, and we want to give you a monster worthy of the festival and create more ridiculous memories & crazy photo ops for years to come.

Any funds left over will go towards a limited-edition Geoff keepsake, which Geoff himself will hand out to Stonedeaders in 2027.
