Tea • Nature • Ceremony 🍃
Ceremony doesn’t always have to be something formal or learned.
Sometimes it is simply the way we meet the moment.
Sitting with tea in nature, we slow down and become present. Tea, nature and ourselves come into communion , no longer separate, but part of the same moment.
This too is ceremony.
Just you, tea and nature. 🌿

There’s something about being in the forest when it rains. 🌧️🌿
Everything feels a little different, the colours deepen, the scents become richer, and raindrops create tiny patterns across the water.
Forest bathing isn’t about waiting for the perfect day. It’s about meeting nature as it is, slowing down and noticing what’s here.
Sometimes, the rain gives us even more to notice.

A little moment from my forest bathing walk 🌿
When I slow down, I begin to notice the things I might otherwise walk straight past.
The patterns in this fallen wood caught my attention, the shapes, textures and colours, each one completely unique.
This is one of the things I love about forest bathing. We are not walking to get somewhere. We give ourselves time to wander, pause, notice and experience the natural world through our senses.
And sometimes, something very small becomes the most beautiful part of the walk.

🌿 Would you like to experience this for yourself?

There was something so beautiful about gathering in nature today to celebrate Lammas and the beginning of the harvest season. 🌾✨
We slowed down and noticed what was around us the changing colours, the golden hues of late summer, and the gentle sound of the aspen leaves moving in the breeze.

We grounded barefoot on the earth, found quiet sit spots, connected with nature, and journalled around the themes of Lammas, harvest and abundance.

We gathered wildflowers to create seasonal bouquets, shared Lammas tea, and enjoyed simply coming together and appreciating the abundance nature has to offer.

Thank you to all the wonderful women who joined me today. 🌿🤎

Today we slowed down. 🌿🍵
A beautiful morning of Forest Bathing & Sencha Tea in the woodlands of Edinburgh.
We wandered slowly beneath the trees, allowing the senses to guide us noticing the light, the sounds, the textures, and all the small details we so often pass by.

After our forest bathing practice, we gathered for a quiet Sencha tea ritual, sharing Japanese green tea surrounded by nature.
Thank you to everyone who joined me today and brought their presence to the experience. 🌿

Our next gathering will be an Autumn Forest Bathing Walk & Tea Gathering 🍂🍵

As the forest begins to shift into shades of gold, amber and brown, we’ll come together again to slow down, reconnect with nature and settle into the rhythm of the season.

Sunday grounding. 🌊
There is something so calming about walking barefoot on the beach.
Feeling the warm sand beneath your feet and the cool ocean around your toes, invites you to slow down, reconnect with your body, and settle into the present moment.
Sometimes, the best thing we can do for our nervous system is to step outside, breathe deeply, and let nature remind us that we belong.
Wishing you a slow and grounded Sunday. 💙🌿

This morning, golden light shimmered across the ocean as gentle waves met the shore. I stood barefoot in the sand, just breathing it all in and letting the moment settle.

There’s something about scenes like this that reminds me how nature quietly restores us when we slow down enough to truly notice.

Taking my tea practice outdoors. 🍵☀️🌊
Tea has become so much more than a drink for me. It's a daily practice, a meditation, a retreat, and an invitation to slow down and be fully present.

Today, I soaked in the warmth of the sun on my skin, the sea breeze, and the rhythm of the waves. A quiet reminder that peace isn't something to chase; it's something we can return to, one mindful bowl of tea at a time.

This is what coming home feels like.
