The Sacral Chakra/ Svadhishthana

Time to look at our second of our seven chakras.

The Sacral Chakra sits about 2 inches below our belly button and is all about creativity, sexual energy, and relating to our emotions and the emotions of others. Someone with a balanced sacral chakra radiates warmth, confidence, and generosity.

The Sacral Chakra is home to our creative spirit, our inner fire, our sense of playfulness and our passion. Being such a central chakra means that keeping the Svadhishthana clear is essential for inviting a clear stream of energy to course from root to crown. Emotionally, this chakra is connected to our feelings of self-worth.

A clear Sacral Chakra helps us to be in touch with our emotions and have the ability to connect with others around us. It also connects to our urinary and reproductive system.

Over the next week, I will be sharing different tips and information on crystals that will help you to look after and keep your Sacral Chakra open and energised.

The Root Chakra or Muladhara #2
The root chakra is thought of as providing energy to our other chakras, so if it’s blocked or unbalanced, your other chakras likely are as well. Just like the foundations of a building, we need to make sure that our chakras have a firm foundation too. Having a well balanced root chakra is crucial to having an open chakra system that is healthy and flowing with energy.

So how do you know if your root chakra is out of balance or blocked?
If you’re feeling over controlling, quick to anger, undriven, lethargic and maybe self-conscious then your root chakra might need balancing. When your root chakra is balanced, you have energy and self-confidence rather than uncertainty or fear. With a balanced and unblocked root chakra you feel calm, centered and ready for what life brings.

Each day this week, I will share a method that you can do at home to help clear and balance your root chakra. I’ll also share a crystal that can help your root chakra too.
