The Phoenix Resource Centre We provide services for adults with frailty, dementia, and learning and physical disabilities.

The Phoenix Resource Centre is a purpose-built centre situated centrally in the south of Newbury. It provides
excellent facilities, supported therapeutic activities, a calm atmosphere and highly trained and caring staff. We support people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health issues and those with frailty and dementia. Our spacious and well-equipped centre has a variety

of rooms, spaces and facilities which we use to set up activities that our customers choose or need.

Everyone enjoyed choosing and creating their own beautiful flower crafts, The activity encouraged creativity, conversation and social interaction , while also helping to develop hand coordination and confidence. 😊❤️

Today our customers enjoyed taking part in our fun and gentle exercise group☺️

The session gave everyone the opportunity to get moving, improve mobility and coordination, as well as have fun together. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved at their own pace and encouraging each other along the way.

We enjoyed a day of activities, flower arranging, planting, bingo and crafts with customers and their families.
It was nice spending time together, chatting, laughing and creating memories. ❤️

A lovely morning of sewing and creativity, today we have been getting creative making lavender bags, practicing their sewing skills.
It was wonderful to see them getting involved and enjoying the activity.
The lavender bags smell beautiful and make a lovely keepsake.

Norman had his 90th Birthday celebration on Wednesday 22nd of July at the centre, enjoyed by Norman, customers, and staff.

All the staff work together in making his day extra special singing happy birthday to him on arrival at his home , on the transport and on arrival at the centre.

Norman had so much fun that he continued the celebration on Friday at the pub with Glenn!
