Work on the Shrine of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá is advancing steadily across the site, with several of its most intricate stages now simultaneously under way. 🏦

The marble cladding of the trellis and columns of the central edifice is being undertaken, with five columns completed and three still to follow. The folding walls along the central plaza are being fitted with local stone, while the curved interior walls of the central edifice, framed from components precisely cut and prepared years in advance, are assembled like a mosaic. The glass panels, the tallest standing at more than eleven meters, have been fabricated and delivered, and await installation by a specialist team in the period ahead.

At first glance, the paintings of David Hockney and the teachings of the Bahá’í Faith may seem unrelated. However, they share an important message about the world, life, and the beauty of diversity. 🎨
Both Hockney’s art and the Bahá’í teachings inspire us to see life with openness and appreciation. They remind us that differences should not divide people but should be celebrated. Color, whether in a painting or in the variety of human cultures, brings vitality and meaning to the world.

These days, the world is troubled by heartbreaking reports of the treatment of women in many places, stories of girls denied education, women deprived of opportunities, and individuals facing restrictions on their freedom and participation in society.
‘Abdu’l-Bahá beautifully explained this truth when He said: “The world of humanity has two wings—one is women and the other men. Not until both wings are equally developed can the bird fly. Should one wing remain weak, flight is impossible.”🪻

Our Prayers and Pancakes gathering brought together friends for a meaningful morning of reflection, connection, and community. 🤲🥞
We shared a rich discussion about what prayer means to each of us personally. Many reflected on prayer as a source of guidance throughout life’s journey, something that helps open our hearts and minds to wisdom, hope, and direction. We acknowledged that while prayer can offer clarity, it is a challenge to listen to our hearts, trust the process, and remain open to where that guidance may lead us.

Did you know that listening to stories and audiobooks is a form of reading?

Anis Foundation, a Baha’i-inspired audio initiative, was founded to provide audio products with a moral and spiritual backbone. Stories and music that uplift the listener.

Working closely with institutions, communities, and individuals the foundation has produced three collections of stories. Recently these have been added to all major platforms including Apple Music and Spotify, and are being listened to around the world. 🌍
