Fred’s Place is an amazing charity that has recently been set up in memory of Freddie Mitchell, who died on 12th July this year at just 33 years old.
Freddie lived with ADHD, mental health challenges and substance misuse, and like many others who live with these struggles, there is not enough support and understanding out there to help them.
The aim of the charity is to help support young men living with ADHD, mental health challenges and substance misuse, alongside offering support to their families.
I did not know Freddie, but I know of others who struggle with these issues, and that life for them and their families can be bleak, I believe that every one of us knows of someone who struggles like this, whether that is a family member, a friend or a colleague!
More help is needed to address these issues, and Fred’s Place is being developed to do just that!
I am holding a sound bath next Thursday at Burghclere Down Community Centre, in Andover, to help raise money and awareness for this amazing, and much needed charity. The session starts at 7pm.
