Let’s get one thing straight..
Microneedling is more than just needles into the skin.
A lot of the time it is misunderstood, here’s why:
- It sounds harmful
It most definitely isn’t harmful if it is done correctly with deep understanding of what it actually does. Microneedling should be done with controlled technique and Serum choice that is best suited for your skin.
- Instant results?
If only…
Yes you’ll see an instant glow, a bit of redness and your skin will most likely feel tighter. However collagen and elastin take a few weeks to fully develop and renew, patience and consistency is key.
- Makes skin worse post treatment
Like all facial treatments, small breakouts and new blemishes pop up on the skin. This is NORMAL and a lot of people think it’s bad. Treatments like microneedling are invasive and work on deeper levels of your skin, all the bad stuff that you don’t see on top is making its way out faster than normal. It’s your skins response to “clearing out” the dirt, poor barrier health and more.
