Since today is 8 August, you can use the Lion’s Gate as a symbolic reset.

🦁 Your 8/8 Lion’s Gate ritual

You’ll need:
🕯️ A candle (any colour)
📝 Paper and pen
💎 A crystal if you have one — completely optional
🧘‍♀️ 10–15 minutes somewhere quiet

1. Light your candle 🕯️
Take a few deep breaths and say:

“I release what no longer serves me. I am ready to step into the next chapter of my life with confidence, abundance and purpose.”

2. Write down 8 things you’re ready to leave behind.

For example:

* Self-doubt
* Fear of change
* Worry about money
* Feeling undervalued
* Other people’s negativity
* Holding onto past disappointments
* Fear of taking opportunities
* Limiting beliefs about what you’re capable of

You can then fold the paper and put it away or safely tear it up.

3. Write 8 things you want to attract. ✨

I’d make these very specific rather than simply writing “I want abundance.”

For example:

I am stepping confidently into a higher-level leadership role.
My experience and knowledge are recognised and rewarded financially.
I attract opportunities that value what I bring.
I am financially secure and abundant.
I trust myself to make the right decisions.
I have confidence in my abilities.
I create a positive future for myself and those I care about.
I am ready to receive everything I have worked hard for.

4. Visualise it for a few minutes. 🌟

Close your eyes and imagine yourself already there. Don’t just picture the money or job title — imagine how you feel walking into work, being respected, making decisions and knowing “I’ve actually done this.”

5. Finish with this affirmation:

“I am worthy of the opportunities coming towards me. I trust the path ahead. I release fear, welcome abundance and step confidently into my next chapter. What is meant for me will find me, and I have the courage to receive it.”

Then blow out the candle and leave the intentions somewhere private.

And one thing I particularly like about the 8/8 symbolism is that 8 turned sideways is ∞ so you can use it as a reminder of abundance, continual growth and new possibilities, rather than thinking you have to force something to happen today. ❤️🦁✨

What a stunning review thank you Mel I am so grateful for your feed back ❤️

My lovely friend organised a tarot card reading for me from Lisa. Wow!

Lisa connected with my dog who has passed recently and she got everything spot on. She mentioned my dog’s name, a trip we went on in March, she talked about the connection I had with her, that there was a black dog in the house and also a sandy coloured puppy that had been sent by Kali to save me. She talked about my van and how we used to go on our adventures in it. She said how it was kitted out comfortably (it’s a mini camper for me and the dogs). She talked about our training, walks on the beach, walks in the woods, how she was a morning dog, how she used to leap over the sofa. I could go on and on.

The reading was absolutely phenomenal and Lisa brought my dog through to read the cards for her. The cards were brilliant and the path that was presented for the next year fits exactly with everything we have been planning.

I cannot recommend Lisa enough, she has lovely energy and a really friendly manner. She was also confident in what she was saying so if you have been thinking about booking her, absolutely do it.
