๐Ÿ’ก Improving care for patients with shoulder dislocations

The Shoulder Reduction Bench is helping Emergency Department teams provide more efficient and comfortable care for patients with shoulder dislocations.

Developed by clinicians at South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, the innovation has demonstrated a 66% reduction in procedural sedation and reduced average treatment time from 83 minutes to 52 minutes during clinical evaluation.

HI NENC has supported the innovation on its journey from a frontline NHS idea towards wider adoption.
